About this property

Welcome to Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain

Located on Copper Road in Frisco, Colorado, Cambria Hotel Copper Mountain offers convenient access to the ski village and nearby lifts, making it a practical choice for visitors focused on outdoor activities and sightseeing. The hotel is positioned close to major ski resorts like Copper Mountain and Breckenridge Ski Resort, as well as popular hiking sites such as Quandary Peak, providing ample opportunities for winter sports and summer adventures alike.

The hotel features a modern and clean design with comfortable, if modestly sized, rooms. Amenities include outdoor hot tubs, a workout room, and a small fridge in guest rooms. While rooms may vary in noise levels depending on location, the availability of ski racks and a coffee bar and bistro onsite add to guest convenience. Some guests have noted a need for deeper cleaning and more seating options in the rooms, suggesting that while the facilities are generally acceptable, there is room for improvement.

Guest feedback praises the hotel's location and friendly, helpful staff, highlighting ease of access to shuttle services and nearby dining options. However, experiences during low-occupancy periods, such as Labor Day weekend, revealed limited hotel services and staffing shortages. The property maintains a welcoming atmosphere, including an LGBTQ+ friendly environment, suitable for a range of travelers looking for proximity to mountain activities rather than extensive onsite entertainment.

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, with check-out at 11:00 AM, and the hotel can be contacted at +1 970-306-7907 for additional information. Its rating of 3.8 based on 181 reviews reflects a generally positive, though mixed, guest experience largely centered on its strategic location and practical amenities rather than luxury accommodations.

Great newer hotel right in the ski village. The room was clean and modern. The hot tubs were nice and hot and clean, with all the jets working. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great location, an easy walk to the lifts and nearby restaurants. The hot tub was clean and relaxing, which was perfect after a day of skiing. Overall, a great spot for a ski trip.

Unfortunately, so many things were closed labor day weekend so it's hard to give an accurate review. Nice, clean, pretty hotel, good amenities (workout room, beautiful outdoor hot tubs and chilling on patio with fire pits). They seemed short staffed and it was a ghost town at 7am in the hotel. Couldn't even get a cup of coffee! But it is a great location and I imagine during peak ski and summer season there may be more to do and more open around town and better staffed. I would recommend Cambria, but I would check what other places in CM are open because that may make a difference on how staffed and active the hotel is.

Rooms small with only 3 dresser drawers and a stand alone closet. Staff was very courteous and responsive to requests. Easy walk to Copper Mountain Center Village or shuttle busses (but NOT ski in ski out). Breakfast varied and good. No microwave in rooms but small fridge and microwave available on 1st floor. No seating on rooms other than one desk chair and on beds. Needs some deep cleaning in shower and on dressers and furniture but overall acceptable. Noisy rooms with outside, upstairs, and hallway sounds loud - not enough insulation. Hence, rating of 4 rather than 5. (Kids screaming and running through halls, dog barking from room across hall first 2 nights/days. Could hear voices and TV from above and adjoining rooms, even though not “ partying).

We had a nice experience here. We skied 3 days at Copper and loved how close it was to the village and lifts. The rooms were fine. Nothing fancy but clean. The gym is fully equipped, and the hot tub was very enjoyable in the cold winter evenings. Staff was friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable enough. We didn’t eat at the restaurant but there’s enough right in the village for food and drinks. Stay here for the proximity to Copper and the affordability. Don’t expect five star amenities, service, or comforts, and you’ll be plenty happy.

The location of this hotel is so optimal, with the shuttle service to all the villages and lots stopping at the front. The service staff was great as well and accommodated us quickly. We booked a suite for 5 adults, and were not too crammed! If you become a Cambria rewards member (free) you get a discount of $25 parking/night, which I highly recommend! Spacious hot tub and large bar/dining area with food and drinks to purchase. Would stay here again anytime!

All the King size rooms are not Copper Mountain View. Only the twin queen rooms have the beautiful Mountain View. Stayed 4 nights. The first 2 nights were on second floor king. I heard lots of noise from above like foot steps and such as early as 4am. So bad, I asked to switch rooms for the last 2 nights. Got out on the top floor in a twin queen which was so much quieter! Two Nice outdoor hot tubs, but were both NOT working for the entire 5 day/4 night stay!!! Staff was friendly and the fitness room was nice. Hotel is clean and rooms are nice and clean. Probably would get 5 stars if the hot tub ls worked!
